Overboard, lime, clock, rat, excitedly

It was the last day of primary school. Excitedly, the year 6s rushed into the restaurant. I looked at my phone and my clock said that it was 8:00pm. I ordered a lemon and lime cordial and honestly…….it tasted AMAZING. My friend bought 5 of them and everybody thought that she went a little overboard. We were all having a brilliant time when some rats intruded our dinner. We will always remember that moment and it will be cherished in our minds. Since it was our last time together, nobody got angry, in fact, everyone was laughing

The egg

I’ve always wanted to win a worldwide prize. I would feel amazing if I did. I went to get a paper from the shop, when I caught a glimpse of a chocolate egg. Apparently, the brand was having a special prize given to somebody who found something in their egg. Intrigued, I took a closer look. On the packaging,it stated that the object inside is anonymous to the public. Nervously, I bought my paper. I felt relieved when I realised that I had some change. I bought the last cream egg. Ecstatic , I snatched the cream egg and ripped off the layer of packaging. I noticed banging on the chocolate. Worried, I took a bite into the luscious chocolate to find three miniature men submerged in the sticky filling. I won……

The water just kept gushing out

I’ve always had a thing for rainforests. I was so excited for my holiday. I was going to have the best time ever. Mum went to the travel shop to pick up a leaflet so I decided to do some research and look at pictures. When she got home I quickly grabbed the leaflet and went back to my room. As I opened the leaflet, water just kept gushing out until the room was filled with it. As I finally got my head out, I looked around but I wasn’t in my room. In fact I was in a completely different place, a…… RAINFOREST! I walked around and saw an explorer. ‘Hello young man, you were sent to help me but I thought you wasn’t coming.’

The slime dripped through….

I wanted to make some slime because it’s the biggest craze right now. I asked my mum and she let me go to the shop and get the supplies I needed. It took me a while to get it to the perfect texture (aka Nickelodeon slime) but it worked. I placed it in the kitchen overnight, but then something strange happened. The slime dripped through my ceiling onto my bed. Many questions were running through my mind. Why did it smell so weird? Do I need to clean it up? Am I dreaming? What was the cause of it? How….

Walking through walls

I was in the forest. Nobody there. It was as empty as a cardboard box. I wanted help. I was pleading for help. A lady passed by but I don’t think she could hear me or see me. I saw a cottage. I walked up to it. I felt a push and somehow I went through the wall. A tingly feeling shot through my spine. Everyone inside was wearing black. A man said gently "I feel a strange presence in the room."
Nobody seemed to notice me. A woman shouted "if you are here, please give us a sign." As soon as that happened I accidentally knocked over a lampshade. I turned and walked out of the house. I was a ghost…

Message for Earth

It’s beautiful down there on earth, beautiful. But, there’s one downfall, people are always shooting rockets up into space and it’s not funny. They keep coming and landing on my planet, it’s intimidating. They ruin it by crash landing. They take pieces of my world. That world is sentimental to me. I don’t like it. It ruins my land and it ruins me. It’s not fair. I have feelings too. People are practically selling my life. It hurts that people don’t think about me. Can someone give me at least a little sympathy. Just give me some respect. Please.

However, yellow, gingerly, discovered, remarkable….

It was a thunderstorm. Lightning, thunder, it woke me in the middle of the night. I walked gingerly to my light switch, to find that it wasn’t working. It must have been a power cut. Then, I heard footsteps downstairs, it sounded like it was coming from the kitchen. I thought it would’ve been my brother, he’s always having a glass of milk late at night. But I listened at his door, however, I heard him snoring. I walked downstairs and I gazed at a yellow bright light, it was remarkable. I discovered that it was Sarah. My foot got trapped in the staircase and I tripped over. "Sarah!"

Laughter

What makes me laugh? Well, when my mum is being embarrassing I laugh, when someone stares at me I laugh and when I’m nervous I laugh.Also, you’ve been framed cracks me up. My mum dabs in front of my friends. It is so embarrassing but funny at the same time. My friends say they will make me laugh and so they stare at me. Every time I do an exam I always do a nervous laughter. My brothers get really embarrassed when my mum is being funny. I guess that’s just how teenagers get. What makes you burst out laughing?

suddenly all the lights went out

My first sleepover. It was really boring. All we did was sit on our phones until 4 in the morning. Going on Snapchat, texting, face timing and all that stuff. Somehow, mysteriously, the lights went out. That’s when the fun began. I have to admit, we were quite scared at first, but that didn’t last for long. We all just burst out laughing after about 2 minutes. We calmed ourselves down soon afterwards. When we were all silent, the funniest thing happened. Leah trumped really loudly. It was funny at the time. We all whispered “LEAH!!!” I’ll remember that forever.

The noise was SO loud

I walked backstage, nobody there but myself, it seemed to take forever. Suddenly, I heard my que. As I walked on stage the crowd went wild. The noise was SO loud and it was so frustrating. Then, to get on my last nerve, twins ran on stage and screamed down my ear, "I love you", and the other "I’m your number one fan!" I wanted to scream down their ears "shut up!" But I know everyone would hate me for that. Then I started feeling dizzy, I was hilusinating. It felt horrible. Everything was echoing. Then it happened. I fell to the floor. Kaplunk…..
